Hi Christy! Happy Cinco De Mayo! Being a Texan I love me some good Tex-Mex. These recipes look great and I have saved some of them to make in the future. Thanks Christy!! 🙂
Thank you Aileen, I hope you enjoy them!!!
Thank you so very much Christy,
I enjoy recipes from around the world, I can’t imagine anyone with negative comments, shame on them. I’m so glad you share different culture recipes, it would be fantastic to do a different culture every month, hey now that could be your next cook book !
LOL, thank you Phyllis!!!
Personally, I think it would be great to celebrate special days for lots of different countries…just so we can try out some new-to-us foods and eat until we feel like a beached whale! Just think how much you can learn about a country by the foods and recipes they have passed down through the generations!
I agree Susan!!!
Oh Christy! I hate anyone would be offended over sharing a recipe! Wow…. sounds like someone needs more on their “to do” list 🙂 Would have never entered my mind. Since the good old US of A is a melting pot, I think MANY of our traditional dishes come from other cultures/countries. Even good old country cookin’. Surely we can all be happy about sharing good food, no matter what the origin!
🙂 Thank you Kristen!!
I haven’t seen any comments on being offended by celebrating this holiday. But in your defense I will tell you this… Cinco de Mayo is NOT celebrated in Mexico…. It is a western thing.
LOL, well that’s interesting to know!!!
We love Mexican food in this house and cook it often. I celebrate all holidays and love all kinds of food.Thank you for these great recipes. LOVE YOU GIRL. GOD BLESS.
Thank you Liz!!! Blessings to you!!!
