  1. Now that is NICE! Good to see that a magazine is finally recognizing that the average home maker and cook (whether for a family or just herself) is looking for recipes that are easy, have fewer than 2 dozen ingredients, and when done taste great! Your ckbk is the one I use for new ideas (and yes even after cooking 47 years for family and now just husband and me I look for new ideas).
I have recently given up several subscriptions to magazines just because the recipes were nothing real people would ever cook and eat ( I mean I am soooo tired of lobster with truffle sauce–yeah like that is going to happen in my kitchen)
So bottom line congratulation! and it is really good that what you do is being recognized. Carry ON !!

  2. Such good new, so proud of you and for you! It’s good news for us because we will see you on a much bigger platform … looking forward to what you add to an already wonderful magazine. Congrats Christy!

  3. Congrats! Amazing to see how far you have come over the years! What a wonderful gift and opportunity! So excited for you. Southern Living is very luck to you have on their team! : )
