I was thrilled to be invited along with other bloggers to attend special restaurant week events this past weekend, which began at one of my favorites, Lawler’s BBQ!

Me, Katy, and Conni from CosmopolitanCornbread.com 🙂 This is a great week to gather with your friends!

Restaurant week kicks off tomorrow, August 14th, and runs through August 23rd.

Huntsville Restaurant Week is an annual, ten day celebration of the best in Huntsville/Madison county dining. Focusing on locally owned & operated eateries, Restaurant Week offers up great deals and even better memories.

Participating restaurants offer special  deals for lunch and/or dinner.

Lunch specials include fixed-price selections at  the price point of $5, $10 or $15 featuring a main course and appetizer or  dessert.

Dinner specials include selections at $10, $20 or $30 and feature a  main course, appetizer and dessert. Restaurants may choose to offer any  combination of the above specials.

This year, there is even a whole new CATEGORY for restaurants to enter their work – Bonus Bites!

Bonus Bites includes those delectable items that don’t quite fit anywhere else. Think: breakfast and desserts. If a local business doesn’t offer a traditional lunch or dinner item that could fit in the above categores, we encourage them to enter the Bonus Bites category.

THERE ARE SO MANY restaurants taking part in Restaurant Week this year! From barbecue to fine dining, there is definitely something for everyone and this is the best opportunity you’ll have to try out those places you’ve always wanted to eat at.

For more information about Huntsville Restaurant Week,  visit huntsville.org/restaurantweek.

  1. Lawlers is one of our favorite places to eat when we travel back home to Alabama. It was good to see it featured here! Their barbeque is wonderful!

  2. Christy, I did not receive (via email subscription) your stuffed shells post or this one on the restaurants. I saw them on your site, but they did not show up in my in box. Could you please check to see if there is a problem with my subscription? Thanks so much and have a wonderful weekend.

        1. Hey! I looked up both of your email addresses in my email program and it shows that the Stuffed Shells post was sent out but only one of you opened it so it may have ended up in your spam folder. I hate it when that happens but I’m afraid there isn’t much I can do on my end. I’m so sorry!
