Lifesavers: It’s A Process
“It’s a process.”
The older I get the more I find be myself saying this.
Because age can bring wisdom and wisdom makes the truth more apparent.
And because I’m always in the middle of changing, improving, working on something.
“It’s a process.”
No one truly gets from point A to point B by clicking their heels.
We have to set a goal and then do the work.
One step – one day – at a time.
And eventually we wake up and realize we’ve arrived at our destination.
Some processes take longer than others:
Changing our habits
Changing our language
Changing our attitudes
Changing our hearts
Building a solid relationship with the Lord.
You have to put in the time or nothing changes.
You’ll just keep waking up, one day older but not one day closer to any goal – Because you never began. Perhaps you talked about it, but talking about a process and taking the step are two different things. It’s amazing how many people never seem to see that.
If we never set out on the journey we stay right where we are.
We have to realize that it’s a process and give ourselves permission to take the time. We have to accept that fast things are not permanent things.
Permanent things need time to grow roots.
And a good root system is formed long before you see the first leaf.
Because it’s a process
It’s always a process.
Start the process.
These verses came to mind when i read your blog today. Edpecially verse 17. Thank uou so much!
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Wonderful! So very true. Thank you or sharing.
I remind myself daily….
* CULTURE drives habits
* HABITS drive behavior
* BEHAVIOR drives results
It really is a PROCESS…..
