  3. Hi,
I visit your site almost daily, enjoy the stories and musings, and look forward to the Meal Plan Monday each week. Thank you for all you do to share time-honored and new recipes. I wanted to share a savvy thing I have found and have wondered if you have shared it with your readers. It is mexican spices. If I go to the regular spice section at Walmart, Thyme is around $4.50 per container. In the mexican section, I paid $.62 per package yesterday. Cinnamon sticks, rosemary, and other spices are similarly cheaper. Yesterday I found a good quality spanish olive oil significantly cheaper in the mexican section. Although there is not the variety as in the regular spice section, it’s worth checking out before buying lots more expensive spices.
