Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Martha White. I received no compensation for this post and all opinions contained herein are my own. #cornbreadcookoff y’all! Winners will be chosen using random.org and have three days to claim their prize or another winner will be chosen. Names will be announced on this post and winners will be notified by email. Please check your email if you enter, or this post, to see if you won because as much as I’d love to, I can’t chase folks down. I do try really hard to get winners to respond but crazy things happen, like folks not answering multiple emails and then finding out they won five years later and demanding their prize. Yup. Happens :). So we now go with three days, kinda like a baseball three strikes and you’re out only I don’t know squat about baseball only that the sound of a game on tv puts me to sleep better than three tylenol pm’s. Now y’all leave a comment and enter and have a great day!

  1. Would love to win. I could make a meal several times a week of cornbread and buttermilk. So glad I found you! Somedays I read something you post and it helps me to turn my day around.

  2. I grew up on cornbread, being a country girl. I make a CORNBREAD PIE which is a meal if you have a salad or cole slaw to go with it. I even like it for breakfast if I am running late. I love hot crusty corn bread with butter and cold buttermilk.

  3. My favorite cornbread story is: My nephew was getting married; our side of the family gave a recipe shower for his bride to be. When she unwrapped a corn stick pan she asked (I swear I’m not making this up) ” where do you get corn this small?” We have never let her forget it.

  4. I finally got to South Pittsburg, a couple of months ago, and stopped by the Lodge store. I bought the cookbook and a couple more items. Love all the cornbread recipes in the little book. I also love your site!

  5. Cornbread always reminds me of my grandmother. She had her special pan she always used and it was delicious!
