  2. I have my mother’s cast iron skillet. I use it strictly for cornbread! I can’t wait to try out these recipes on my family,I’m sure they’ll enjoy each one. Thank you for the ideas!

  3. I love cornbread hot out of the oven with butter along with some fried fish. I also loved “corn pone.” It was made by my late mother in our black skillet at home growing up. I regret never watching her make it. It was made with corn meal. No mixes “back in the day.”

  5. We love corn bread and I would be so happy to win this Lodge pan and cookbook! Thanks for your wonderful recipes. I love that they are simple and so good. Never had one that I didn’t like and many have become family favorites!
