Answering Questions Part 3 :)
In this video I answer readers questions sent in to a special email address I set up just for that purpose. I’ll be sending the email out again to subscribers soon so make sure you sign up for my newsletter if you’d like it. I don’t post it publicly on the internet to keep it free from spam and make it easier for me to read and respond to your emails. Thanks!

Answering Your Questions Part 2
I have watched your first three videos for the second time and am anxious to see your biscuit video. But I have to be at the dentist’s office bright and early in the morning so I will have to wait until I get home. I love your videos! Please keep them coming. I feel like I am having a sit down visit with you and enjoy your company. I am your “Frugal Cooking” friend. God bless!!
Thank you so much for watching and hanging in there with me Mimi!!! Hope your dentist visit goes well!
Hi Christy!
Another excellent video! I have been waiting all weekend (and now it’s already Tuesday!) to watch this. I was blessed to have family staying with us this weekend, and I just ran out of time.
I have to tell you what a great job you are doing with these videos. I know that I’m not alone when I say that the more you chat with us through videos, the more we all enjoy you!
Thank you, thank you for sharing. Please continue! You are an inspiration!
Kendra
Thank you so much Kendra, you just made my day!!
Awesome video, as usual! I would love to watch a biscuit video. I have tried and tried but I cannot make an edible biscuit, so I have my fingers crossed that you get to do one of those. (If not I understand because it does seem super complicated!). I hope you are doing well and look forward to this week’s recipes! Thank you for all you do. I can’t cook worth a flip (it is a running joke at my house that everytime I step into the kitchen I burn something, and I do. Every single time.) but I always look forward to my Southern Plate newsletter. Have a blessed week!!!
I have faith in you Jessica!! I am working on the video to see if any of it is useable (fingers crossed). I hope you have a blessed week!!
Christy,
I finally got to finish the videos!! They are awesome. I vote for anytime you have the time & idea to do one go for it. I am so proud you followed your hubby advice & changed your career path. Been a nurse for 32 yrs now – love my job but wish I had thought to follow other dreams too. Thanks for the answers to our questions!! Can’t wait for 3rd book!!
Thanks for the new video! Always love these chats. 🙂
Christy, I have just recently subscribed to your email list. Love you, your videos, & blog. You are such a blessing! In a future video could you please tell me how to properly measure flour. Either scoop out of canister, or spoon it out then level off. (Hope that makes sense to you) Do you think it makes a difference in the finished product? Some one mentioned a video on making biscuits, I would also love to see that. I bake a lot just not biscuits, I have a tendency to overwork the dough. Thank you for all you do!
YAY! my first biscuit video should go live this week and in that video I talk about measuring flour and even show it! This is awesome. Made my day 🙂 Thank you so much! I also talk about overworking the dough. I did these videos with three other ladies so I was showing them at the same time and we had a serious dough worker overer 🙂 I hope you’ll tune in! I’ll send an email out soon as it is up.
You are the sweetest thing. I love your openness. You made me smile while I,was watching your video. Please know you have my deepest respect. I have both of your cookbooks. When your second came out, I bought one for all my children and grandchildren for Christmas, the men/boys even leafed through it, before going on to another present. So that is high praise, lol. I bought myself one and even bought the digital, so I’d always have it with me.
Bcarol, that means so much to me. Thank you so very much. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your kindness and grace towards me.
I have one question for you, though, are those books signed? If not, would you like them to be? I have book plates I can send you that go inside and make it a signed copy. I still have some left and would really appreciate it if you’d let me send them to you.
Gratefully,
Christy 🙂
