Biscuit Class – Classic 3 Ingredient Biscuits
Link to this recipe is below the video
Good Morning! Last weekend I got together with a few of my friends who claimed they couldn’t make good biscuits and taught them how to make three different kinds! Everyone’s biscuits turned out beautifully and the great news is that my husband recorded the whole thing so I can bring my Biscuit Classes here to you, as well.
This is the first time we’ve done something like this so there are kinks to work out, of course, but I think this first effort turned out pretty good. We hope to purchase another camera before recording the next series of classes, so you can see my friends off camera more throughout the class. All in all, I think the video makes you feel like you are there, which, for me, is the next best thing to actually having you there :).
Thank you so much for watching and please comment below if you found this video helpful. I have been pleasantly surprised by all of the positive feedback on my “Answering Questions” series of videos and your comments and encouragement have been directly responsible for me doing more!
The links to recipes mentioned in this video can be found below. There is an ad that plays before the video (sometimes) in order to help fund a second camera :). Thanks for your understanding and support!

Stay tuned for more videos from my Biscuit class! Before we’re done I’ll teach you how to make every biscuit shown on this table (yup, they’re all biscuits!). Next time, we’re going to bring a real camera with us, too 🙂
Classic 3 Ingredient Biscuits as taught in the video on this post.
Thank you so much for the video on how to make biscuits. Christy dear, I love to cook and cook so many of your wonderful recipes, but making biscuits has been one thing that i have not accomplished. I just do not know what happens so i have resorted to buying canned biscuits. I am just thrilled after watching your video. I have hope that I can do this tomorrow morning when i prepare my family breakfast. Thank you so much for making me feel like a wonderful cook. Love Pam
Enjoyed the video SO MUCH !! Not everyone has someone to teach them the basics and this will be a great help to those wanting learn to make homemade biscuits. Can hardly wait to see the other two. Thank you Christy & Ricky !! You make a great team !
Thank you so much Debbie!! ~HUGS~
Loved it reminded of my grandma teaching me how to make them! Thanks for the memories I miss her so. She had a old metal kitchen table we would roll or pat them out on depending on how many people were there, right on that. We put them in the oven and grandpa kept an eye on them while we sat on the swing drinking iced tea!
Ohhh, I can picture it in my mind!! What a lovely setting!!
Enjoyed the video! I’ve made a few “hockey pucks” in the past so see the consistency of the dough in this video really helps, thank you!!!
I am so glad it helped Susan!!! No more hockey pucks!!
but… I have Jordan rolls in the oven this very minute!
~giggles~ Rolls AND Biscuits, that is a perfect day!
Oh, my word, what fun! Wish we could get White Lily flour in this area. Nothin’ says lovin’ like warm biscuits from the oven.
Amen Joanne!!!
Enjoyed the video.
I remember watching my Grandmother making biscuits and if she had a busy day ahead, she just patted the dough in a pan or skillet and baked it. My mom made the best bread pudding with leftover biscuits. She would also split a leftover biscuit, butter it, sprinkle on brown sugar and cinnamon, and toast in oven. Yum.
Oh my goodness, brown sugar cinnamon biscuits, those are the best!!!
