My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard.

Mother would come out and say, “You’re tearing up the grass”

“We’re not raising grass” Dad would reply, “We’re raising boys”

  1. My heart and prayers go out to all the military families who won’t have Father’s Day with their loved one. My dad died at an early age but I still miss him!

  2. My Father died in 1999. He was a wonderful Father. Always gave you great advise. He was a good Christian man, worked in the church. He worked every day for his 6 children and his wife. My Mother and children always can first to him. So if he were still alive all of his children and most of the grandchildren wouls be celebrating and spending the day with him.
HAve a wonderful Father’s Day in Heaven.
    Your loving daughter Jean.

  5. happiness keeps you sweet, trials keep you strong, sorrows keep you human, failures keep you humble. Success keeps you growing, but only family keeps you going.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there, those still with us and those who live in our hearts. Hope everyone has a safe and blessed weekend.
