February Archives 2008-[year]
IF YOU CAME HERE FROM THE EMAIL I SENT TODAY: I accidentally linked to the February Archives instead of the March. You can view the March Archives by clicking here. Thanks!
Good Morning! Here is a list I pulled together of all of my posts from past Februarys on SouthernPlate.com, in one convenient place for you should anyone want to catch up or see what they might have missed. I’m planning on doing this with each month as it arrives throughout the year so stay tuned and make sure you subscribe by email to avoid missing anything. Meanwhile, If you’re hankering for something new or even familiar tastes from the old days, you’re sure to find it on this list.
I look forward to chatting with you in the comments so be sure and drop a “hidy” if you’ve got the time!
Gratefully,
If any of the links don’t work, that is a mistake on my part and I’ll try to get it fixed as soon as I’m aware of it. Please let me know in the comments and then use the search box in the top right hand corner of SouthernPlate (beneath the title area) to search for the recipe by name.

I started SouthernPlate.com in July of 2008 so 2009 was my first February blogging :).
Christy,I just want you to know what an inspiration you are and a blessing. Thank you for the wonderful recipes and most delightful as well as informative blog. Keep up the good work Christy. Thank You.
Thank you so much Annette!!
Love your recipes Christy, I’ve made quite a few and all have been hits. Your Mama’s Southern Biscuit recipe I can hardly keep ahead of the family, they are gone before I know it. Thanks for the tip on how to shred chicken with the dough paddle. So easy and works perfectly every single time !!
My Grandmother was born in Alabama and moved to Springfield IL, before immigrating to Canada (where I live), when I saw your Mama’s cheesy pot pie the markings . . . Oh my I had forgotten, but that is exactly what my Grandmother did on the top of any sweet or savory pie. What great memories !!
Thanks for all your recipes and good words,
Enjoy your day !
Thank you or making my day Lisa!!!
Hi Christy!
I was fortunate enough to find you early on and buy a copy of your first cookbook, which I love. I have since gone vegan (for health and animal cruelty reasons), but I manage to make substitutions with vegan ingredients for many of your recipes. It’s truly the sign of a great recipe when you can make alterations and still have it turn out great. I’ve also continued to follow you because of your incredible spirit. Your positive attitude, your faith, and your kindness are inspiring; and I always feel better after having read one of your posts. I hope you never stop writing, because you bring joy to so many. Keep up the great work and congratulations on all your well-deserved success!
Warmly,
Katie
Thank you so much for your continued support Katie!! ~HUGS~ and Blessings!!
Hello Christy, I really enjoy reading your blog and recipes…it’s amazing, so please don’t stop sharing…I’m from the south…Summerville, SC and southern people like cooking…Thanks again.
Thank you so much Virginia!!
Hi Christy!
I hope I am where to chat!
I hope you received my ??? for your video segment.
I just ordered two of your books from B&N (Coming Home & So.Bite). Will the books have ALL your recipes in them?
ENJOY YOU AND YOUR BLOG.
Hi Martha!! I did get your question, thank you for submitting one and thank you for ordering my books. I hope you enjoy them!!! Some recipes are exclusive to the books, some recipes are exclusive to the website and some recipes can be found in both places 🙂 .
Hello Christy, I am a new subscriber and so happy I found you. I am a transplant from Memphis, TN. to Maryland. I have been making biscuits a long time and trying to teach my 7 year old granddaughter how to make them. Her mother my daughter didn’t have an interest in baking, but loved the results. I’m wondering if the “Save the Biscuit” shirts are available for sale. Thanks for this great site.
Hi Charlene, I am afraid that the shirts are not currently for sale but there have been a LOT of requests so I wouldn’t be surprised if they make them available. 🙂
I just love your blog, recipes, etc. Thank you so much for taking the time to compile this list. Looking forward to going back and “catching up”. God bless you and your family!
Sheila
Thank you Sheila, blessings to you!!
