Get My Original Velveeta Recipe Today!
Earlier in the week, I was thrilled to announce that I’m one of five Velveeta Kitchenistas! Myself and four other mom bloggers have each taken a day at VelveetaKitchenistas.com to share with you our tips and recipes for great family dinners using Velveeta. I hope you’ll check out all of the other days as there are some fantastic bloggers on there offering great advice (and I’ve been fortunate enough to know most of them personally, too!).
Today is Tasty Traditions Thursday, which is my day to host!
I hope you’ll hop on over and get my original Velveeta recipe – Loaded Potato Casserole-which I developed with your busy schedule in mind. Afterward, pay me a visit over at Velveeta’s Facebook page where I’ll be answering questions and chatting with Velveeta fans throughout the day. Can’t wait to see you there!
I’ve partnered with VELVEETA to serve as one of five VELVEETA it! Kitchenistas. I’ve been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about my cooking experiences, tips and advice at Velveetakitchenistas.com; developing one VELVEETA-based recipe; and hosting “office hours” on the VELVEETA Facebook page. I have also been compensated for the food purchased for my VELVEETA recipe. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
I can’t get to it either and its driving my nuts!!
Hey Little Amy!!
Click below to find my recipe, thank you so much!!
Gratefully,
Christy

What is French onion dip ? Is it the same as Lipton Onion Soup Mix made into a dip ?
Dolores-You can usually find French onion dip in the refrigerated section of the grocery store…where they keep the sour cream and such. It’s a prepared dip for chips or veggies. Think you can also find french onion packaged dip mix in the spice or dressing aisle–probably mix it with sour cream and/or mayo. Lipton onion soup mix made into dip sounds good though to….not a huge fan of the French onion flavor myself.
Dawn, thank you so much! Hope this helps, Dolores!
Christy,
Honey, you are a joy, and you make me feel so ‘homesick’ for the south.
When I was a little girl, about every six months or so, my ‘transplanted’ mama would get so homesick that if you weren’t in the car in the time it took her to get a suitcase ready, you had to stay home (and cry). As soon as we would get into those southern hills, she would let off the gas(down to about 70 mph) and start to relax. As my dad, who was from back east, would say, “You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl.”
I was born in the North, but I miss those days so much, even now.
Thank You so much for being you. God Bless.

Oh Karen, I was just in the car with you and your homesick Mama hightailing it back to her homeland for all that we’re worth!
Thank you so much for sharing that story. I can relate, although on a much smaller scale.
We lived in Georgia for a few months several years ago. I missed Alabama so badly, even though I was just a few hours away. Every other weekend or so I’d go back home and as soon as I started getting closer to that state line Lynyrd Skynyrd would start playing in my head. When I crossed it, I’d press play and turn up the speakers as Brady and I sang along!
But she and I were both lucky to be able to have that appreciation of home while we could still go back.
I bet your Mama and I felt much the same way.
Thank you so much, Karen.
Gratefully,
Christy
Our “little southern woman” has gone and grown on us. First, California and grilled cheese, then TV shows and segments and now Velveeta. What next?
I saw the recipe and it looks good and easy (so of course its perfect), only thing is I couldn’t figure out how to print it out…got any suggestions or a link to print?
Thanks again for your amazing recipes.
Hey Melanie!
Come Monday they are going to have a few modifications to the Velveeta Kitchenista site that make printing it easier as well as finding the recipes easier. In the meantime, I’ve posted the recipe on the Velveeta Facebook page to make it easier, hope this helps!! thank you!

I’M FIRST sorry didn’t mean to yell.
Still trying to get to that recipe.
Hey Cherrill! I don’t consider it yelling so much as speaking loudly with enthusiasm! lol
