  1. I try to carry these in my car and hand them out. I usually add a washcloth and shampoo or body bath items or a bar of soap in cold weather I try to get gloves and a knit hat. I think it’s great that you put this on your site I volunteer in a food pantry and see a lot of homeless people. They are so grateful for these bags. Also a pocket Bible Blessings to you and yours

  2. Christy,
Your post blessed me. I try to put myself in the place of a very unfortunate homeless person and list items I would want. All your items were on my list . I would also include a comb, wash cloth, metal nail file and one of those cozy throws.
On a lighter note, may I come and spend a day with you and Katie ?
    I am 80 years young.
Blessings to you and your wonderful family.

  3. Love, love, love!! Thank you for opening your heart to us. Your love for Jesus and people is absolutely radiant. Bless you and your family! ❤️

  4. I collect all the small toiletries from hotel stays while traveling. These would be great to add. Also, they can be donated to local shelters.

  5. Great job you and the girls are doing…..

Maybe some of those individual cups of applesauce, etc.

Bag of Christmas Candy, Candy Canes….everyone loves those 🙂

God Bless you and the girls for doing this Christy…..MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL

  6. I love the idea of the “Blessing Bag”. I especially like the biblical references and using the Word of God as your guide. Thank you for differentiating between the sheep and goats and sharing the wisdom according to God’s Word. It’s so widespread, that Christ is not being stressed as the reason we celebrate Christmas.
