  1. Thank you so much for taking me from a negative thinking person to a joy filled person. I will arise in the morning with joy to have my great cup of coffee and read my Jesus Calling

      1. Hi Sandy. God led me to your website. I was searching how to make a homemade birthday cake and your recipe was the one that I chose. In reading your story and your journey with depression I was brought to tears. I thanked God for bringing me to your website.

I’m on a journey of overcoming depression after 2 years of some big challenges. My husband and dad died and I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I’m cancer free now thank the Lord. I am a Christian too and I thank you for sharing your story.

I’m ready to be happy again and this series will help me.

  2. I was amazed as I watched this video which confirmed how blessed I am in my life. I used to be depressed several years ago and gradually came out of it. It was wonderful to realize just how many things I have in my life to be grateful for. I realized that I already use these techniques in my life and wasn’t really even aware of it. I cherish those small moments in my life when I can enjoy my solitude, cuddle with my dogs, read my book, bake a loaf of bread, stare out the window at flowers and birds in the yard, look forward to making something in my pottery class and most of all, just realize how lucky and happy I am. Thank you Christy.

  3. Just getting started today! This is wonderful, thank you! I so believe in what you are saying and I am really at the point in my life where I feel so ready to do this! Thank you, sweet Christy! God bless you.

  4. This really helps. I’m a college student, and I don’t really like studying, but when I study outside it makes it much more enjoyable. I’m gonna be on the lookout for more joy markers. 🙂 Thankyou for the advice.

  5. Your comments are so right on in so many ways. It is as if you looked inside my mind in all the little nooks and crannies that I have tried to keep hidden for so many years. I to have been in that black pit. It was only when I trusted the heavenly father and my soul mate that I was able to climb out. Life isn’t always easy for me but I am the maker of my destiny with my hand in the Lords. Thanks for the honesty.

  6. Thank you for this. I wish I could expand, but I am just tearing up and can’t right now. You blessed me. Thank you.

  7. It is very kind and thoughtful of you to share your tips on being happy. I for one can greatly benefit if I will put them into action. I’m thankful for your servants heart!
