Most of you know that I LOVE my coffee! The heat of summer doesn’t do anything at all to slow me down, either because I just mix up iced coffee then! When the folks at Seattle’s Best contacted me and told me they had special blends to make the most delicious iced coffee, I was a bit skeptical. I couldn’t understand how a certain blend would make better iced coffee than another.

Well Folks, I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!

seattles-best

I tried both of the iced coffee blends using the cold brew method (click here for an easy way to do that) and have been in coffee paradise ever since! I have been keeping a two quart pitcher filled with concentrate in my refrigerator and treating myself throughout the day. Seattle’s Best has me officially spoiled – and you deserve to be, too!

There are two special blends specifically made for the best iced coffee around. I am addicted, in a big way.

We also enjoyed the Seattle’s Best Blend brewed hot to get our morning started! I really love my coffee.

As a special treat for Southern Plate readers, Seattle’s Best is giving away THREE of the coffee sets pictured above!

Each set includes:

Saturday’s Blend is the late summer blend currently being promoted in cafes and online. The sharpness of East African coffee gives it a complex, layered flavor that is delicious hot, while the natural sweetness of Latin American coffee makes it the perfect summertime refreshment over ice.

Beach House Blend is our early summer blend sold exclusively in cafes and online. It has been a summer favorite since 1998 and is delicious brewed hot or served over ice. Made from a blend of Latin American coffees, Beach House Blend has a refreshingly mild citrus flavor, a sweet, delicate aroma and a smooth finish.

Seattle’s Best Blend is our best-selling and award-winning blend at Seattle’s Best Coffee, offering a bright flavor that we have been perfecting since we came onto the scene in 1970.

With these iced coffees, Seattle’s Best is taking the mystique out of coffee house concoctions and bringing it home to you in a much more affordable way. While people are cutting back on other things, you can actually indulge more by cold brewing your favorite coffee concoctions at home.

To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below and tell me how YOU like YOUR coffee! THREE Winners will be chosen at random on Friday!

  1. I am getting right up from this computer and making a batch right now. I do have the prerequisite mason jars, as I have been making iced coffee with milk and storing in the mason jar in the ice box.

As I am also a Southern girl, I would like to enquire how you came up with your recipe.

I have been drinking iced coffee ever since I was a child, more milk than coffee then. Since we make sun tea, this seems like a variation and we could call it “sun” coffee. I will try tomorrow’s batch in the sun, but am making the first batch “in house”.

I tried the Seattle brand coffee when our local Publix had a sale. I love it. I don’t believe it was available here until the last year or so.

    Can’t wait to try it.

  2. What a wonderful offer. I enjoy two cups of coffee each morning and two to three each evening. I enjoy it with a sugar free sweetener and cream in what ever flavor I am in the mood for or have on hand. My hubby though drinks it all day long. I would look like I was wired all the time if I did that.

Thanks for posting these meat offers. I enjoy your blog so much I have already refered a friend. 🙂

    Thanks,
    Melissa

  3. I like my coffee cold in the summer! I am actually new to the coffee drinking scene (the last year now) and really don’t know much beyond . . . Starbucks = good, Duncan Donuts = good, cheap brands = bad, coffee at my church = bad and so on. Coffee with half and half has helped me to avoid becoming an alcoholic with my husband on the road traveling. It is a treat and a special moment during my day that I can carry with me. I think I am actually in love with the cream but the coffee is necessary to flavor it!!!
    There you go!
    Kamilla

    P.S. I don’t think I have ever tried Seattle’s best.

  4. I love coffee both hot and cold. It is very hard to get good iced coffee that isn’t filled with too many flavors and sugar.
So I usually stick with hot coffee until I cant stand it any longer.
I am supposed to be drinking decaf but havent tried it yet.

  5. I love a really good cup of coffee but only if it is fresh brewed. I live in Pensacola FL but got hooked on West Texas Sunrise (chocolate & caramel) coffee from Abilene TX while visiting my daughter there last year. I would love to see if Seattle’s Best can whoo me away. I like to make my special cup of coffee in the evening in a 1 cup coffee pot that belonged to my mother. Can’t get any fresher than that!!! YUM! I know that Seattle beats Abilene in being a beautiful city so would love to win to get to try their coffee and see for myself how good it is.
