Southern Plate Celebrates 100 Recipes With Link Love!
100 Recipes!!!
Its hard to believe that my next recipe post will be the 100th recipe post on Southern Plate! This calls for a celebration! Since the beginning, you’ve all be so encouraging and wonderful to me, I truly don’t know how I got so lucky to have such amazingly generous and kind people reading and hanging out on my virtual front porch, but I am so very grateful for each and every one of you.
But we’ve been sitting here on this front porch for a while now and I’ve just been a talkin’ away and haven’t let you get a word in edgewise! So why don’t you step up and introduce yourselves to everyone on this post.
I invite you to list the url to your blog or website along with a description of what its about and/or who you are!
I won’t be responding to these comments (this is your show!) but I will check and follow every link and if you have Southern Plate listed among your links, I’ll be sure to add you to my permanent links as well (which will someday be organized by category and include short descriptions…someday! I am going to update it and add a big, pretty button on my sidebar this weekend.).
After a few days, I’m going to make a button on my sidebar with a shortcut to my “Link Love” post. So go ahead and introduce yourself to the wonderful folks here, and let us get to know you better!
*Your blog or website does not have to be food related! All readers of Southern Plate are invited, welcomed, and requested to participate because YOU Are so very important here!!
All I ask is that you list family friendly websites only, please.
So speak up! Tell us about your blog here!
Hello from Michigan! I’m Jane, a fortyish mom of four, a daughter who’s 26, and three sons 23, 20, and 18. I was a SAHM until my youngest entered school, then I returned to the work force. My degree is in Physical Therapy and I work for a home healthcare agency, with mostly Medicare-age patients. I love my work!
I also write, read, and absolutely love baking and cooking. My dream is to open a bakery someday, so I started my food blog Foodzilla to chronicle my journey towards that goal.
I love reading everyone’s blogs and have learned a great deal from them.
Congratulations, Southern Plate, on your accomplishments!

Congrats on 100 posts! 🙂 I’m Teresa and my blog is I’m Running to Eat! I started it as a way to keep track of my workouts and to get myself to cook more meals at home. It’s evolved and now it’s not so much about running as it is about my search for quick, easy and hopefully healthy recipes that my family will love.
Hello Christy & All of you wonderful ladies, I'm Mandi 33 from Oklahoma, I'm a SAHM of two beautiful girls, 7 years and 19 months. I love to cook for my family. I write two blogs, one about everyday life & one about the recipes that I cook and we like 🙂 I love Southern Plate because it's just the type of meals I like to cook. This is one of my favorite blogs to read!

Hi everyone! My name is Alice and I just recently became a SAHM. I do work as a nurse sometimes when my husband can get a day off during the week to watch our 6 month old daughter. Since i’ve been home i’ve been cooking, baking, and blogging. I’m fairly new to the blogging thing. I just started it 2 months ago. I hope to add a side blog to it soon about several artsy fartsy stuff like ceramics, scrapbooking, cardmaking (neither of which i’m a pro at) and fun things we do with our daughter. Thank you Christy for this opportunity. I love your site. It’s now of my “favorite sites to visit” on my blog. I just found it today by accident on a search regarding butttercream and your cookie cake recipe popped up. I have been browsing ever since! I am definitely going to try your Coca Cola Cake recipe!

Hello all! And a special hello to you, Christy!
My name is Amiyrah, I’m 26 and a part time SAHM. I am also enlisted in the New Jersey Air National Guard. I have a 3 year old, cute as a button, little boy. My Hubby works for the state as an electrician and I have become very interested in living frugal while still living well. I talk about this quite a bit on my blog. I absolutely love this site! All of the recipes remind me of what my grandmother used to make for me when I was younger. She was from Southwest Georgia and I still think of her and her cooking daily. Can’t wait to see more recipes from you!
