I had a wonderful time visiting with my Southern Plate family on the book tour. From time to time, I’ll venture out to speaking engagements or other appearances. Stay tuned to this page and our Facebook Events Page to be kept up to date on those!

Note: Like you, my family comes first. While I appreciate all of the invitations I receive, I cannot take money out of our family budget in order to travel to venues.

Here in Oklahoma City your books are wonderfully displayed at the Borders on N.W. Expressway. I think you will be pleased. I will see you at your book signing.
Your wonderful website has changed the way my extended family eats it meals and enjoys those meals. Being a simple cook your recipies are perfect. As the 93 year old former WWII prisoner of war who eats your cooking each week says: “That Southern Plate sure is good. It tastes like my momma used to cook”. High praise indeed.

Looking forward to seeing you October 11 – Books a Million/Huntsville. My husband, Ron and I met you at Athens College. We both have been waiting for this book. Plan to buy some for Christmas Gifts. I believe we are excited as you are about this book. My husband sure enjoys my cooking since he brought my attention to you on TV. He will tell me “you received another email from Christy.”

Illinois is on the way to Wisconsin (if you go to visit Kelly), bring a coat! Maybe you could include the Chicago suburbs in your “world tour”. I would love that! It sounds like you are going to be a busy woman, just look at all the LOVE in these replys! Keep up the good work, and remember to smell the roses on your way up! I am in mid. Florida around x-mas and at Spring Break… in case you don’t like Chicago in the winter!
