Simple List of Thanksgiving Recipes
Hey friends!
I know we always talk about how fast the year has passed but I do believe this year has set a record for spiraling by at lightning speed. It is really hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week but I am so looking forward to enjoying time with my family. I am looking forward to this Thanksgiving more than I have any other. I plan on unplugging, talking, cooking, writing in my journal, and just enjoying the peace of family.
I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes today, ones that we generally have at all of our holiday meals (Thanksgiving and Christmas). These are just in a list form, rather than with photos accopmpanyig them, to save you from having to scroll and make it easier to read. Click on any title to go to that recipe and at the bottom of each recipe there is a printable recipe card for even more ease.
I’ll still be posting some recipes before then but just wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. We have a lot of unrest in our world these days, and certainly countless valid concerns. But at the end of the day (and at the beginning, too), there is still so very much to be grateful for. I know we tend to focus on the problems but in doing so, sometimes, it only makes them feel larger than they actually are. Let’s apply that strategy to our blessings whenever possible, and watch them grow in our eyes, our hearts, and our realization.
Crock Pot Dressing – My grandmother’s recipe
Easiest Ever Creamed Corn – in butter sauce, so good!
Granny Jordan’s English Pea Pimento Casserole
Cranberry Crunch – Mama’s favorite, and old school lunchroom recipe
Preston Rolls – Make this dough a day or two ahead of time and then just pinch off and let it rise for soft, yeasty rolls!
Jordan Rolls – Yeast rolls made from start to finish in an hour.
Spoon Rolls – Quickest rolls. Delicious, but not yeasty.
Frozen Cranberry Banana Salad – Granny Jordan always had these in her freezer. Her signature dessert.
Faux Pecan Pie – great for folks with nut allergies!
Grandmama’s Holiday Fruit Salad (My favorite thing in the universe)
Have a BLESSED Thanksgiving! I’d love for you to share photos from your special day with me on my Facebook Page.
