LAST VLOG OF THE MONTH!
Tomorrow, I kick off my Vlog Every Day in June Challenge for food bloggers. Watch the video for information!
I was so intrigued by your skirt that I had to have one! Thanks so much for the discount code. I just ordered mine and I know I will love it, just by how enthusiastic you were about yours. I’m not a skirt person, so this is a whole new idea for me.
Oh, and I love your cookbooks!
Hi Christy~
So look forward in your daily Vlogs! It feels like checking in with an old friend. 🙂
A couple days ago you mentioned your favorite skirt with deep pockets. I’d love to find a comfy skirt with deep pockets as well. Do you order them or could you share where you purchase them. Inquiring minds want to know……. haha…….. Wishing you many blessings!
Hi Christy,
Your vlogs are a blast! Actually, I had never heard of a “vlog” (and neither has my spell check, haha) until I saw yours. Love your recipes and background stories. My husband’s two favorites are Moma’s Mexican Cornbread and Beefed Up Baked Beans. Thank you for recipes that bring memories of my Grandmother and my Great Grannie to mind. I used to love to sit out under the old pecan tree shelling peas or beans with them and my great aunts using old enameled dish pans; listening to their stories of when they were young. Even back then I knew I was blessed to have them! And if you have time, I second Jill’s request for information on your quick dry, multi pocketed skirt. I have started wearing skirts and dresses because they’re cooler in the Deep South than pants and long shorts. Have great week at home with you new chicks and family.
Joni
Thank you so much!!! You just put a big old grin on my face. I’m so glad you enjoy the recipes and make them your own!
I’ll show one of my skirts in tomorrow’s video and tell y’all where to get them and such.
Hi Christy!
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had negative feedback from your vlog posts! I haven’t seen or heard anything offensive on your blogs, vlogs, or magazine entries! Sure, there are negative things going on all over the world, but dwelling on the negative will not create a positive! Thank you for your uplifting words, your positive outlook on life, and feeling easy with expressing your beliefs to all of us. You truly do make us feel like we’re sitting down having coffee and a chat together! 🙂 I enjoy that!! Oh, and certainly your recipes, family stories, traditions, and fun happenings are delightful and heartwarming!! <3 My May issue of Taste of the South has arrived, and tonight my family gets to enjoy your stovetop macaroni and cheese!! 😀 Life is good!! Have a blessed day!! xo
Thank you so much Judy, I appreciate you more than you can imagine!!! I hope you enjoy the macaroni and cheese!!
You are so awesome! I am “sugar booger” in our family. Just listening to you I feel we could be sisters or cousins. 😉 I love listening to you talk about your grandparents. My grandmother’s are my best friends ever. Each one is so different from one another. I am also so happy you got your chicks. I picked ours up at the post office too. Actually they are my daughter’s and she takes care of them. They are fun to have and eggs are great. You have a great day!
🙂 I hope you have a great day too Stacy!!!!
You crack me up. Thank you for sharing. Btw we are having tacos tonight and I live in texas. I was just as giddy when I got my chicks. In fact a torrential downpour just occurred and it scared the chickens so bad they were just standing there. So I went out in the pouring rain and put them in their coop so they wouldn’t be so scared. And my best friends name is Cristy!!!!! Happy cinco de mayo!!!
🙂 I hope you have a great day Amanda!!
Christy,
Just watched all of the vlogs. May 5th vlog on offense: AMEN! Glad you got your chickens! Love Ya!
🙂 Thank you Angela!!!! Love you!!
Christy, thank you, your videos are incredible. They have brought me soooo much joy. My husband is facing a serious vertebrae biopsy on Thursday; so your joy and encouragement have lessened the anxiety. God spoke through you, and for that I am very thankful and grateful. THANK YOU!!!!!
JoAnn, you hang in there, girl. God is with you, as you know. It does feel good when He gives us clear and obvious signs, doesn’t it? He is gonna send you many more so keep your eyes open! Praying for you 🙂
