Hi Christy……really enjoyed your chat video and the information about the food saver. The links were very helpful. The January 25th video has the year 2015….I always need a few weeks to catch up to the new year…glad I am not the only one! All of your ideas and recipes are very much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience and love.
AH! You’re the first one to notice it, too! You know, in my mind it is still 1990 something most days. How amazing it is the warp speed of time. Thank you so much, I corrected the date 🙂 I appreciate your kindness and support!
Christy, during your last weekly chat you talked about several tools you use, ie: food saver, etc. I have never heard you talk about a pressure cooker. Do you use one??? I have two and don’t think I could cook a meal without them. They are used EVERY day. My most favorite one is the electric one my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas a few years ago. I do have the regular one that goes on the stove. I will admit I have “blown up” one or two and had to clean peas off the ceiling, but that was because of operator error. Too much pressure by not paying attention. Just replace the o-rings and pop-off thingy and ready to go again.
Love your site. Thanks for taking time to post. I’m originally from Auburn, AL but am a Florida transplant now. Miss my home in Alabama.
Janet Creswell
It’s crazy that you ask that now because I am planning on writing a big old post on my electric pressure cooker next week!
Hope you are having a warm day!!! Alabama misses you, too!
Oh wow, can’t wait for it. New ideas on pressure cooker and new recipes. I miss Alabama also. But sure do love living in southern Florida 30 minutes from beach.
I am so very glad that I took your advice on the dehydrator! I love mine and use it a lot!
