During the course of Southern Plate with book tours, mission trips, and general travel, I’ve been able to visit beaches from the east coast to the west, and beyond into tropical islands of the Caribbean. But I have to tell you, when I think “relax”, “beautiful”, “family”, and “perfect” the only beaches that come to mind are the white sands of Alabama’s pristine beaches.

These are the beaches are the cleanest, most family friendly that I have ever been to. The entire area is as friendly as it can be, there are accommodations galore (we usually stay in a nice condo for less than what we’d pay for a hotel elsewhere), and the deep blue waters of the gulf of mexico draw away the stress with every wave.
